- The active player rolls the dice and selects a card. The number on the dice corresponds to a category. A role of 6 allows you to pick any category.
- The chosen category is announced, and depending on the mode being played, all players proceed to write down 5 correct examples or answers to the active category.

Tension Mode:It's all about speed! Players race to write their answers quickly. The first player to finish not only earns a bonus point but also stops everyone else in their tracks.

Timed Mode: Race against the clock! In this mode, players have just 30 seconds to jot down their 5 answers.

At the end of each round, scores are tallied. Common answers earn 1 point, while unique answers exclusive to a single player garner 2 points. The player with the highest total points at the end of the game emerges victorious as the Instant 5! champion!
